[treasure 1][log+network] you gotta know i'm feeling love
WHO: Gilgamesh, the contents of Auguries of Innocence, and you?
WHERE: Auguries of Innocence, network
WHEN: 4/23
WHAT: aking man with too much money and time walks into a toystore for rich assholes and also petitions the local mongrels color.
WARNINGS: none
[LOG: enter Auguries of Innocence]
[ it didn't take too long to track Vergil Vittore down. it wasn't like the man had concealed his change of location, even if he hadn't announced it in a manner that Gil would've found convenient. if the man hadn't always had such a quality of stock, Gil would've been tempted to never patronize his little shop again, but the man had always had an eye for the extraordinary, and now that Gil could see it for himself, things that truly dwelt outside of the mundane.
it's a short ride from the hotel room he's staying in, at least, Gil tossing whatever bill was on the top of his wallet to the Uber driver as he focuses on his end goal. the banner is familiar in its austerity, and if it was a shitty knockoff, whoever stood inside would have hell to pay on the other end of Gil's temper.
he lets himself into the store with a little ding-a-ling of the bell, taking a deep breath as he looks around, surveying the stock--heartened, as there are some pieces his recognizes, and some pieces he doesn't, further assuring him that he's in the right place (because of course he would never be wrong in anything he decided on doing), hand on his hip as he lifts his chin, chest thrust forward as he speaks.
and by speaks, one means the sort of voice that's supposed to be heard from the center of a theater in the round, up to the cheap seats, booming in the sort of way that could be heard upstairs without too much trouble. ]
Mr. Vittore!

You may call me Gil.
As charming as this little town is, I can already feel the entropy settling over my bones, boredom seeping into the few available cracks of my skull. What is there to do here? Sell me on your establishments and any local activities of some merit. I don't care to hear the whining that comes when I chase my own fun. (edited)
