[ so far it doesn't feel like a timeshare pitchmeet or a creepy old dude trying to creepy old dude, right? good signs?
there's also a little flicker in Gil's appreciation level that it wasn't an 18 year old approaching his job posting, if she can get into a wine bar without a problem. ... what was the drinking age in this country again? ]
From what I remember of scheduling classes for my own college education, I believe the wine bar would serve us best for a brief interview. I am available at any point during this week, for whatever time serves your own schedule best.
[ look there are some people in this world who do not think that far ahead, it's a good sign that Takamaki has some neurons doing the thing ]
It does. I will tell you I don't keep a strict schedule--my office hours are entirely subjective and decided by whatever the day's needs are. I do not expect you to keep the same schedule as me, but that's certainly something we can discuss. I will see you at Wednesday at 5.
[ aka there's no force on this earth that can make Gil work if he doesn't wanna, neither god nor the heavens nor an androgynous blue-haired homunculus with really strong legs.
come 5pm on said Wednesday, Gil will arrive where they meant to meet. coming early is for dorks and people with stuff to lose, he breezes in at 5. ]
[She'll send a confirmation in reply before going on with her day.

She's sitting at a table reading one of her textbooks as she waits.
When she sees Gil arrive, she'll stand and offer her hand for a handshake when he approaches.]
[ for the moment, he's in a long black leather coat and looks somewhat professional and put together, though there are brief glimpses peeking under the leather that imply something a lot brighter is happening underneath.
the dillweed's also only wearing one glove. he settles himself at her table after a firm handshake, giving a small gesture to her book. ]
Is that for a class you're enjoying or one that you'll pass come hell or high water?
