[I love you so much Jackals, but I'm not going to write out another 'please give me a job' email when I've done that a lot in the last year, lol. But basically, Ann sends him an email that's incredibly polite regarding the job posting he put on campus for the part time personal assistant position. It includes a copy of her resume and her contact information.

he reads the e-mail over and hey, she like, checked it for grammar and spelling and didn't have her iPhone accidentally sign it as Queefmaster 5000, so she's at least moved into round 2 of considerations. he'll send an e-mail back maybe six hours or so later. ]

I would like to meet you for a face to face interview at this stage of proceedings; would you prefer to meet in a public space or my hotel accommodation? I'm still unfamiliar with the area so I am uncertain as to which public venues are available, if you have any suggestions.

I would be more comfortable if we met in a public space first. Depending on time of day, there's a good cafe here (insert address) that is normally just studying students, or a wine bar here (insert address), that's normally quiet on weekday afternoons.

From what I remember of scheduling classes for my own college education, I believe the wine bar would serve us best for a brief interview. I am available at any point during this week, for whatever time serves your own schedule best.

It does. I will tell you I don't keep a strict schedule--my office hours are entirely subjective and decided by whatever the day's needs are. I do not expect you to keep the same schedule as me, but that's certainly something we can discuss. I will see you at Wednesday at 5.

When Wednesday comes, she'll be there early, of course. She's nervous. She's dressed sharp, but not overdone, with her hair in a bun instead of the normal pigtails. She was told it looks more professional.

She's sitting at a table reading one of her textbooks as she waits.

When she sees Gil arrive, she'll stand and offer her hand for a handshake when he approaches.]
